"Enrichment Toys for Animal Tots" - Spring 2018

For this project, we partnered with the San Diego Humane Society and built enrichment toys for their variety of homeless pets: dogs, cats, mice, chickens, bunnies, crows, and ravens.  As a prerequisite, students had to undergo an in-depth study into the key behavioral traits of their selected animal.  Stemming from what they learned, students designed and built a custom toy that catered towards these needs.  Groups also created a website displaying their research, enrichment toy, and, for some groups,  instructions on how to build one yourself (linked below).
