Perception Project - Fall 2019

The Perception Project was a uniquely self-driven class project.  It challenged students to observe and experiment with local biota, both around and in the classroom.  Students were driven by their own inquiries based on field observations at NTC park and classroom labs, and projects evolved as they might expect to in a graduate lab setting.  As a result, some students chose to experiment with the growth of different microbes when exposed to different temperatures, while others chose to document the biodiversity around our school; and some decided to build an aquarium filter while others made efforts to build an aeroponic system.
